Summer Nail Colors for a Winter Bright Palette Woman

The Winter Bright Palette woman has a medium-cool undertone, medium-dark value, medium-bright intensity and high contrast in her natural color palette manifested in her skin, eyes and hair. A woman with these chromatic characteristics needs colors with the same features as those present in her appearance to bring out her natural coloring. The colors used for clothing, make-up, accessories, jewelry, etc, must emphasize her chromatic characteristics and dominant aspect. A Winter Bright palette woman is not a pure palette winter woman but has a dominant aspect in her coloring, as the name of her subgroup of belonging says and it is the “Brightness”.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A “WINTER BRIGHT WOMAN”?

According to the color analysis with the sixteen subgroups method, which is the most precise method to determine the season and subgroup of belonging of an individual, there are four subgroups in each season that have specific chromatic characteristics. In the winter season, there are the “Winter True”, the “Winter Deep”, the “Winter Cool” and the “Winter Bright” subgroups. The “Winter True,” which is the “winter pure” subgroup, doesn’t have a dominant aspect and represents the original winter season. The “winter true” palette woman presents all the characteristics of the winter season (value, intensity, contrast and undertone) in a homogeneous way in her personal color palette. The other three subgroups are not pure winter palettes. They have a dominant aspect in their coloring and flow into the seasons which have the same dominant aspect as theirs.

The “Winter Bright” subgroup flows into the “Spring Bright” subgroup. These two subgroups have different temperatures, the “Winter Bright” has a cool undertone/temperature and the “Spring Bright” has a warm undertone. They are sister palettes because they have in common the “Brightness”, the dominant aspect of the “Winter Bright” subgroup, which is also the dominant aspect of the “Spring Bright” subgroup. That’s why they share some colors even if with different temperatures because, in their case, the temperature is not their dominant aspect but the brightness. For a “Winter Bright” palette person is better if she borrows some colors from her sister’s palette, even if warm but bright, than from the summer palette, which is a cool season but soft. The majority of the summer colors have a medium-low intensity and can wash out a person that has the “brightness” as a dominant aspect. The colors must emphasize the person’s specific chromatic characteristics to enhance her/his coloring. In the case of a “Winter Bright” woman, the colors she uses must highlight her undertone and value, but mostly her “brightness”.

Not all the colors from the “Spring Bright” palette can work on a “winter bright” woman, only the ones that have a cool and warm version of it and are already present in a cold version in the “Winter Bright” palette. For example, an orange color from the “Spring Bright” season, even if bright, will never work on a “Winter Bright” woman because it is extremely warm and is an adverse color to her coloring. The orange color is only present in the spring and autumn, both warm seasons, and doesn’t have a cold version. A warm, bright green or a warm, bright red color can work because there are already greens and reds also in a cold version in the “winter bright” palette, hence they are colors that enhance a “winter bright” woman.

“WINTER BRIGHT WOMAN” – MEGAN FOX

As an example of a “Winter Bright” woman, we have Megan Fox, which has all the chromatic characteristics that reflect that subgroup. Her dominant aspect is the “brightness,” which refers to both the brightness of her natural colors and the colors she can handle in her clothing, hair coloring, accessories, make-up and jewelry. An exclusive feature of the “Winter Bright” person is the brightness of the eyes, that is to say the presence of “Gem Eyes”. Without this characteristic, a person even if it has a cool undertone and medium-dark value cannot be a “Winter Bright” subgroup.

NAILS AND COLOR ANALYSIS

But what does the color analysis has to do with the color of the nails? Nails are part of our body and beauty, and the more their color is in harmony with our natural coloring and the colors we use for clothing, jewelry, accessories, etc, the more our image will be enhanced. If they are in colors that are adverse to your natural coloring, they will clash with your entire image. The color analysis works by repetition: a “Winter Bright” palette woman has “bright” colors in her natural appearance and will need the brightest colors from the winter season to highlight her coloring and create attractiveness. The brightness refers to the saturation of the colors. The natural colors of a “Winter Bright” woman are highly saturated, so the best colors for her nails are the ones with the same chromatic characteristics as those present in her coloring. As we have mentioned, a “Winter Bright” palette woman can also borrow some colors from the “spring bright” palette, only if they emphasize her dominant aspect.

SUMMER NAIL ART FOR A “WINTER BRIGHT WOMAN”

The “Winter Bright” palette is specifically crafted for a “Winter Bright” palette person, so all the colors work perfectly together and bring out the person’s coloring. Here are three examples of colorful summer nail art in colors from the “winter bright” palette that are perfect to compliment a “winter bright” woman’s natural beauty.

This nail art technique merges two or three colors that create contrast. In all the three examples, the contrast created reflects the level of contrast naturally present in a “winter bright” palette woman. The more there is contrast, the better because the “winter bright” palette woman has an extreme contrast in her coloring and the best color combinations for both nails and outfits are the ones that reflect her extreme contrast.
In the three nail art illustrated below, there is the Pantone Ultra Violet because it is a “jolly color” for a “Winter Bright” Palette person. “Jolly colors” are different for each individual and there are at least three in each subgroup. They are power colors that emphasize the most an individual’s natural coloring.

ULTRA VIOLET, FUCHSIA PURPLE AND SPRING CROCUS

In the first Nail art, we have Fuchsia Purple, Spring Crocus and Ultra Violet, a contrasting color combo. The “winter bright” woman has the highest contrast and intensity of all seasons. Her natural colors are saturated, so her best nail colors are colorful, contrasted and vibrant. This subgroup and its sister palette, the “Spring bright” subgroup, are the only two sub-seasons that can also handle neon colors for nails and clothing because they have as a dominant aspect the “brightness”.

ULTRA VIOLET AND GREENLAKE

In the second example of nail art, we have Greenlake and Ultra Violet, both enhancing colors for this subgroup. A color combo with bright hues of Violet and Green is one of the most beautiful combinations for a “Winter Bright” woman, not just during the summer days but always because it emphasizes her “brightness”.
